Design tips for small kitchens
Some other ideas that can help make tiny kitchens:
1.Do you really need that kitchen island? You probably will. But then again, tiny kitchen islands take up a lot of space and aren’t always as useful as they seem. If you’re worried about space, try small kitchen ideas that don’t include islands. You may find that you can run perfectly without an island.
2.Push the cabinet up to the ceiling. Standard kitchen cabinets usually have open space on top. While this does provide an airy feel, it is a luxury that is often unaffordable in a small kitchen. You might want the former to trump the latter, but it’s definitely something to consider.
3.Use glass cabinet doors. The downside of pushing cabinets up to the ceiling is that it makes the small kitchen more claustrophobic. Solve this problem by installing a glass cabinet door. Adding indoor lighting to cabinets can also make a big difference.
